
Terms & Conditions
Welcome to DocentQi Research LLP. These Terms and Conditions govern your participation in the Docent Research Program and Docent Scholar Program (collectively referred to as “the Program”), offered by DocentQi Research LLP (“Company,” “we,” “our,” or “us”).
By enrolling in or participating in our Program, you (“you,” “participant,” or “student”) agree to comply with and be bound by the following Terms and Conditions.
1. Program Overview
DocentQi Research LLP provides structured, mentor-led research programs designed to help high school students and recent graduates conduct original research and prepare publishable papers. The Program spans 12 weeks and includes scheduled weekly interactions, writing the research paper, and submission milestones.
2. Eligibility
Participants must be high school students, recent graduates, or equivalent, with a demonstrated interest in research and academic growth. Acceptance into the Program is subject to application review and availability of mentors.
3. Program Fees and Payment

Full payment must be made prior to the commencement of the Program unless otherwise agreed upon in writing.

Payment covers mentorship sessions, access to research resources, and guidance through all stages of the research process.

4. Mentorship and Scheduling

Each participant will be matched with a mentor based on subject interests and mentor availability.

Participants are expected to attend all scheduled sessions and meet weekly deadlines.

Sessions missed without prior notice will not be rescheduled unless under exceptional circumstances.
5. Research Integrity and Plagiarism

Participants must ensure that all submitted work is original and properly cited.

Plagiarism or academic dishonesty will result in immediate dismissal from the Program without refund.

We reserve the right to use plagiarism detection tools to verify authenticity.
6. Intellectual Property

The research paper produced during the Program is co-owned by the student and DocentQi Research LLP for the purpose of academic publication and promotional use.

Participants grant DocentQi Research LLP the right to showcase published work (with proper attribution) on its website, social media, and marketing materials.
7. Publication Support

While publication is a key objective of the Program, acceptance by a journal is not guaranteed.

We assist in journal selection, formatting, submission, and editorial processes but are not responsible for final decisions made by external publications.
8. Code of Conduct
All participants are expected to:

Maintain respectful and professional communication with mentors and peers.

Adhere to timelines and program expectations.

Engage in all activities in good faith and with a willingness to learn.
9. Limitation of Liability
DocentQi Research LLP shall not be held liable for any direct or indirect damages arising out of the use or inability to use any aspect of the Program. This includes, but is not limited to, delays in publication, technical issues, or dissatisfaction with mentor matching.
10. Modifications and Termination
We reserve the right to modify these Terms and Conditions or terminate the Program at any time, with reasonable notice to participants. Continued participation after changes implies acceptance of the updated terms.
11. Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes shall be resolved under the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in New Delhi.
12. Cancellation Policy
Docentqi Research LLP offers partial refunds if a student withdraws from the program:

Cancel within 1 week of start date: 90% refund

Cancel within 2 weeks of start date: 50% refund

After 2 weeks from start date: No refund
All cancellation requests must be submitted in writing to support@docentresearch.com. Refunds are based on the date of the request.
